Daughter of immigrant parents my first experience was to be given away. Sent from Brooklyn, NY to be raised in Haiti by my grandmother till the age of 6. I returned to the US, to face a broken family of divorce, living with extended family and left in the care of parental friends. This left an open door to childhood manipulation and abuse on all levels leading into my adulthood.
Despite being surrounded by so many, raised with a church background, it felt unsafe to speak about my trauma.
So I turned to a path of drug addiction and an addiction to people pleasing hoping to be seen and loved for who I really was.
Others defined me by their standards, leaving me in a lonely place, dazed and confused. Through it all, I stand on a foundation of hope. I decided to finally choose to discover for myself, who I am.
I started the process of peeling back the layers of false definitions to look at myself and accept the truth and awareness of my authentic self.
When You Are Ready, The Teacher Shows Up
My early interest in human development allowed me to develop my spirituality practices and have my own personal experiences being in Divine flow. My decision on choosing to discover myself allowed miracles to reveal themselves from the inside out. I took many opportunities for diving into ancient knowledge, principles and practices that remolded me. I created a fusion of my learnings with a love of movement and rhythm to shake off my depression, and return home to my original self.
I gained more clarity as I started to share and teach my practice. My mission is to guide in this transformation. I invite you to see yourself transformed right before before your eyes.
